West Ham United have announced the signing of multi-purpose defender Edson Alvarez from Ajax Amsterdam for £35.4m (around €41m).
According to Ajax’s website, Alvarez has guaranteed a bounty of £32.8m (€38m) plus a further £2.6m (€3m) based on performance and success terms.
