Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca insists he is lucky to have a well-rounded player in his squad after the Blues hammered Wolves 6-2.
“It was a good performance. I think the first half was not perfect. We started well in the first 10 to 15 minutes. We scored and had two or three chances.”
“Then we lost the ball easily. When you want to create chances from behind, you can’t give yourself the ball easily, otherwise you will lose set pieces and concede counter-attacks. You have to be more precise.”
“The team was more accurate in the second half, they didn’t lose the ball easily and overall it was a good performance.”
Asked about his half-time speech, “As I said, be more precise. The intention was good, but we have to be more precise if we want to play our way. I’m lucky to have a lot of good players who can play in many positions.”
On Noni Madueke: “I like Noni a lot. He’s my type UFABET of winger. The most important thing he did today was run back to stop the counter-attack in the 90th minute. That shows the mentality of the players and the team.”
Speaking about the quality of the Chelsea team, “I have said many times that I am happy. We have many players who are good in every aspect. That gives us many options.”
What has changed from the performance against Man City to today? “The performance against Man City was very good. We created chances. We played the same way and at the same level as they played. Today the only difference is we won.”
